Hi Everyone!!!
As you all know, I have been working on a "lifestyle change". I try not to say diet because diets almost always fail. I've done every "diet" on the market; low carb, cabbage soup, master cleanse etc. I may have lost the weight but when I started eating normal I gained it all back. I've tried cutting all the "bad foods" & all that did was make me crave them even more! This time around, I'm strict but I don't deprive myself of anything. If I want fries, I'm eating them!! But, the more junk I eat, the less amount of food overall I get to eat.
It's been almost a month since I've gotten back on track & I have to say, my skin is so clear & I wake up more energized.
I think it's really important to set small goals. My first step was increasing the amount of water I drink, then trying to eat more fruits & vegetables. Now I try to drink no less than 10 glasses of water a day & 8 servings of fruits/vegetables. It's hard to eat healthy & only lose 1 pound a week, but 1 pound is 3,500 calories!!
I've been lacking motivation lately, I don't know whether I'm stuck in a rut or if it's just pure laziness!

I played Roller Derby & I loved it(until I blew my knee out!) The only thing I hated was it made my thighs enormous from constant squatting & jean shopping was a bitch when your thighs are too big! Skating is such a great workout & I miss it so much, but there is nowhere for me to skate because the road I live on is rocky and uneven. But these girls bodies are rocking!!

Obviously, I'm never going to be a size 2. I have wide hips & I've always been curvy. I always carried my weight in my butt & thighs until about a year ago when it started migrating to my belly. I'm planning on starting either P90X or Insanity in late July/early August, I just do not want to get too
muscley(is that a word!?) But it's a sure fire way to lose some weight before the wedding!!
