Stink bugs?

Have you ever seen a stink bug? Um.. I have A LOT. There's been an infestation where I live. They aren't even from here, they are from Asia? Wtf are the doing in PA!? Seriously, I counted 21 in my bedroom this morning. Thy aren't harmful, they just fly around and when they get aggravated they emit this TERRIBLE scent. Of course, my cats have been going crazy chasing after them. Every one I catch gets flicked outside!
Here is one on my blind. BASTARDS!
I did a smoky eye, my camera is the worst. Plus, I only did one eye... I'm super lazy tonight! I'll show you but the pictures are crap!
Do NOT judge my eyebrows! I have not had time to wax or tweeze them and they are wiggity whack!

Have a great night!

ELF Haul!!

So I just walked in from work & my ELF products had been delivered! Just a little background, I have tried some things from ELF before, I wasn't a huge fan. Then, a few months ago they were having 50% off of there Studio line, so I thought "Why Not?". I purchased a bunch of things & was pleasantly surprised. So this is what I bought this time:
Lilac Petal Shimmering Facial Whip- This stuff is a beautiful shimmer cream. I rubbed a tiny bit on my wrist and the color is really rich. It's definitely a good product.(Regular Line)
Shine Eraser- Oil blotting papers, I haven't tried them yet.
Pink Lemonade All Over Color Stick- I love color sticks, especially for my purse. Blush, lipcolor & eyeshadow all in one? Hell Yeah! This color reminds me of a brick. It's not as red, more of a darker pink. It'll be used a blush for sure. (Regular Line)
Black Liqiud Eyeliner- I put a smudge of this on my hand and rubbed.. it didn't even budge. That's always a good sign! (Regular Line)
Eyelid Primer - I'm keeping my fingers crossed this works because UDPP is expensive!
Blushed/Bronzed Contouring Powder- My favorie product. It's a beautiful peachy pink and a bronzer. The pink is GORGEOUS. It has just enough shimmer without being sparkly. (Studio Line)
Complexion Brush & Smaill Precision Brushes - Both are very soft and of good quality, I'll let you know more when I use them!
Boldly Bronzed, Grassy Green, Plum & Teal Shimmering Eyeliner Pencil- AMAZING! I really am impressed with these, the colors are SUPER vibrant and really pigmented for a dollar! (Regular Line)
Ash Eyebrow Kit- I have the Light eyebrow kit & I love it but it's not ashy enough for my eyebrows. The 2 mixed should be perfect!
Brush Shampoo & Daily Brush Cleaner - Super excited to try these. I'll do more on these at a later date!
Zit Zapper- Self explanitory (& $1)
Purple Cream Eyeliner- I lovvvvvve this stuff. It's so rich and creamy. The color is really pigmented and sooo pretty. Purple makes green eyes POP! (Studio Line)
(Green, Plum, Teal & Bronze Eyliner Pencils, Black Liquid Liner, Purple Cream Liner, Lilica Petal Shimmering Whip (Top) Pink Lemonade Stick (Bottom with cream eyeliner smeared in the middle!))

I'm going to be playing around with these for the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled!

Shoes, Nails & Face

I just put my shoes away and realized I might have a small obsession.
These are just the heels & wedges that I own. And by the way, Shoes Under sucks! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
This is the polish I've been rocking this week:
It's Color Club Power Play. It's so bright and beautiful!(Please excuse the chips and such on the nails, I nibble at them!) Color Club has some awesome colors, I think I have about 10 polishes from them.
AND... I found a FOTD from a few weeks ago..
PS- I forgot to tell everyone I ordered some goodies from ELF that will be delivered tomorrow! YAY!
Enjoy!

Friday Motivation

Good morning!
As you know, I am currently trying to lose about 25-30 pounds. It’s been super hard as I love to eat junk food!
My main reason for losing weight is to be healthy! I want to live a long life, have lots of babies and maybe one day travel the world!
I also want to lose weight for my wedding on October 20, 2012. I know it’s a long time from now but it gives me more motivation to be a size or two smaller by then.
My mom & both of her parents have type 2 diabetes. This is what I am trying to get away from. I’d rather lose the weight now when I can and save myself from all the bad things that go with being overweight.
This is what keeps me motivated:
1.The Wedding!
2.Marisa Miller, her body is AMAZING!
3.Really good throwback music!
4.To prove to myself that I can lose this weight.
5.The skinny jeans I have in my closet from 2 summers ago!
(For you who don't know, this is Marisa Miller! Um, serious girl crush right here! Her body is rocking!!)
What keeps you motivated? Do you have any dieting tips or tricks?
Thanks for reading! Have a great Friday!

My Favorites

Heeeeeeeeeeyyyyy.
I'm off work today & home with the cats!
I decided to do a post on my 5 favorite skinecare/makeup & hair products.
I'll start with haircare:
1. Paul Mitchell Quick Slip - This is a styling cream that helps reduce drying time by 25%. It also has a lightweight conditioner and a UV protector. I apply about a dime to quarter size amount and rub my palms togrther. I make sure to distribute evenly from roots to tips and then I'll either blow dry(very rarely) or air dry my hair.
2. Chi 44 Iron Guard - A thermal protector spray that works well with ceramic irons. I always use this before I use a flat iron or curling iron. The only thing I hate is it smells like a guy's cologne.
3. Sily Sexy Hair Leave In Remedy - This is a leave in conditioner made for color/chemically treated hair. Apply it to damp hair, concentrating on the ends. I love this stuff, it's amazing and it smells lovely!!
4. Big Sexy Hair Spray & Play - First off, this is my FAVORITE product ever! I am a hairspray junkie and this gives a wonderful hold. It's really strong, great for teasing & updos. The only downside is it leaves a sticky film on everything in my bathroom!
5. Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush- Dry shampoo that soaks up oil & grease. I spray it directly onto greasy roots, massage it into my scalp & then brush my hair. I would NOT recommend this for dark hair as it can make it look dull & gives a white tint to the hair. This smells better than the original.
Skincare Products:
1. Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion - Oil-Free, hypoallergenic & Fragrance free. This is great for sensitive skin & a great daily moisturizer. It has SPF 15 and it absorbs quickly.
2. Proactiv System - I have a love/hate relationship with Proactiv. I find that it does clear my face MOST of the time, however, I get cystic hormonal (PMS) pimples and I find this makes them worse. The cleanser is a great exfoliater, I use it weekly to get rid of dry skin.
3. Equate Makeup Removing Towlettes - This is a generic brand (Walmart). I love these, they smell great and they work. I have very sensitive eyes and these take off waterproof makeup without irritating my skin. One side is soft and the other side is bumpy for exfoliation. I use one every night before I was my face and one in the morning. Plus they are a steal $6.74 for 120 towelettes!
4.Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash - I love Neutrogena products. This is a classic and it still works for me. I also love the new Pink Grapefruit line. This is gentle enough not to make my skin go crazy but still removes my makeup.
5.Face by Fake Bake - This is my favorite self tanner. It goes on sheer and builds gradually. It nevers leaves my skin looking orange and it blends very easily.
Makeup Favorites:
1. Bare Minerals Warmth & Medium Beige - Warmth is an amazing bronzer. It is hands down my favorite. It never looks muddy and makes my skin glow! I stopped using Bare Minerals for awhile but I always find myself going back to it. It is so light and my skin never breaks out from it.
2. Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse in Natural Ivory - This stuff is freaking awesome! It makes my skin look flawless and you can build coverage with it. (Please excuse my bottle, my cat ripped the pump off and hid it!)
3.MAC Custom 4 Eyeshadows(Club, Shroom, Smut & Black-Tied)- Okay, I am going to rant. I love MAC, but the closest one is an hour and 10 minutes away. I refuse to buy any eyshadow without trying it first. It makes me so mad that they don't have a closer store! Anyway, Shroom is my favorite highlight color. I love Smut and Club beacause depending on how you look at them the color changes! Black-Tied is perfect for a smoky eye!
4. Rosebud Salve - Ahh my great grandma lives on through this product! I use it for all kinds of things! Lip balm, eyebrow tamer, chapped skin! LOVE IT!
5. Urban decay Primer Potion: I have oily eyelids and with this my makeup never moves. It's a must have in my book! I hate the container, it's so oddly shaped and annoying!
Runner Up:
NYX Round Lipstick in Pumpkin Pie - This is my favorite nude lipstick. It's got a very creamy texture and is very pigmented.
I also wanted to show my favorite nail polish. This is my goodbye summer color! Color Club Screaming Fuschia..
Annnnnd I got bored and cut bangs a few days ago!
Have a great day lovlies!
