I purchased a hair piece...

I don't know if I have talked about my job before, but I work for an internet based hair replacement company. I have been here for just over 4 years & I am considered a Sales Tech, although I can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about hair systems (wigs, toupees, topper or whatever you prefer to call them!) If you ever hear me talk about a video shoot, I do the websites product reviews.
We've been doing training the last couple weeks with a few new lines & we met with Jon Renau's company.
I have been letting my hair grow for about 2 1/2 years now, it gets colored every 6-8 weeks & trimmed too. Since I'm getting married THIS weekend (sooo close!) I don't want to cut bangs or do anything that might screw my hair up. So, at our wig class, they showed us clip in bangs. I have seen these before & I am very intrigued but let's face it, they are expensive. Well, since these matched my hair exactly, they gave them to me for free!!
It has a very small lace front (like a bridal veil material) and then a monofilament (woven nylon material) and a breathable stretch "lace" on the back & sides. It also has 6 small comb clips that snap open & attach to your growing hair and then snap shut so you get a good hold & your wigs not flopping around!
This is actually a synthetic material that is heat resistant (to a point). If you are not familiar with synthetic hair, it usually cannot have any heat applied because it is a plastic fiber & it will melt. I learned this the hard way with synthetic extensions many years back! This can have heat applied, I think up to 300 degrees.
It comes with regrowth or roots which helps give a very natural appearance. One thing I always find with synthetic hair is that it is REALLY shiny. You can matte out the shine with dry shampoo or baby powder.
Here is the before picture, my hair is really nasty here. It really needed to be washed!
And here is with the hair piece! It's a pretty good match, right!? I love that it has shorter layers than my growing hair. I'm going to cut blunt bangs on it after the wedding since I hate growing bangs out!
And here it is from the top. Looks pretty convincing if you ask me. . You can see a little bit of the edge if you get close, I actually wore it up in a pony tail & it looked great too.
Here is the product in the box.
I'll keep you posted on how I like it! :)
