I Got an IPad 2!!!

My work bought every employee a 16GB Ipad 2 for Christmas! I can't believe how lucky I am! Seriously, I've wanted one so bad but I just couldn't justify buying it. I love my job!

We celebrated Christmas by having an ugly Christmas sweater party, I didn't get a chance to make my sweater as ugly as I wanted but my friend won the contest with her hideously, awesome sweater!

The mall in my area opened a new store called "Body Central". Omg, it's my new favorite store. Super cute things for cheap! I got this adorable paisley skirt for $12.80.

I also grabbed this navy colored shirt for $9.80. The store reminds me a lot of Forever 21, they have more clubwear type clothes. I have to admit, they have the cutest shoes too! The prices are about the same as Forever 21.

And their jewelry was all $3.90! They had 5 racks of things, so much stuff! I was with Dustin so I was rushed. I had a chance to grab these adorable royal blue feather earrings.

My Job Is Flooded!

So, if driving in flooded water yesterday wasn't bad enough, the town I work in called a state of emergency.

In the picture, the left hand side has a bridge that is 15 feet above the river. Typically the water is about 100 feet from the rail road tracks. You can see the hand rails for the bridge on the left (and the road on the right). The right side, beyond the tracks is where my job is located. At this point (around noon) the river was at 59 ft.

This is the opposite side of the tracks at 3 PM. The river came up over the railroad tracks an flooded the road. The water is about 8 feet deep here. This was the whole road at 5 PM. The water is level with the railroad tracks and over 350 feet beyond its normal bank. We aren't sure if there is any damage inside the building but my boss & a few local coworkers came in and moved all the major things (computers, phones & equipment) to the second level. Everyone got out safe & we'll be closed until Monday. The Susquehanna River is set to crest at 62.7 feet, 2 feet less then when Hurricane Agnes hit Lancaster County in 1972, on Saturday at 5 AM. I'm just praying that all is well because I love my job.

Video Shoot Day!

Hello!

I hope the weather's better where you are, it's raining & humid here in PA.. gross!

I have a video shoot today for work & I had to get up early to make sure my hair & makeup were done. Here's today's look:

Here's my nails. They need filled, but I haven't had time! I got the glitter polish a while back & I thought I'd hate it but I've been getting compliments everywhere I go. The contrast with the purple looks really cool.

We Got It!!!

Hi Everyone!!

Remember the townhouse we went to look at? Well, they called us today and we are eligible to move in October 1st! I am so excited that I could cry! I had an awesome day, my dad stopped over & handed my an envelope this morning with an $8,000 check! My parents gave us the down payment for our first house! I can't believe how blessed I truly am! we're going to put it in a high interest savings account & get a house after were married!

My work took us on a cruise through Inner Harbor (Baltimore, MD) and I seriously had the best time EVER!! I wanted to share some pictures!:

This is the dress that I got from Ross for $14.99. Isn't it super gorgeous? The only thing was I wore 5 1/2" heels & it was still dragging on the ground.

Video Shoots?

Hi Ladies,

So you've probably seen in previous posts that video shoots are consuming my life! I thought I would give you a peek into my video shoot world! I'll give you some background information first. I work for an internet based international hair replacement company (wigs& toupees) and we're launching a huge marketing video for 2011. I typically do our product review videos, so I volunteered to do some acting. Little did I know that it would be 15 hours a week!
