New Shoe Rack!

I thought I'd give you a tour of my favorite items in my house, SHOES!

I don't know if I mentioned it, but my work moved on February 1st to a building that is 5 times bigger than our old building was. Everyone was super excited because we got all new everything & we moved to a much more central location. ( I am not kidding, the old building was in a super small town with NOTHING close by!) Anyway, they had a silent action to sell a ton of stuff that was no longer needed for the new building & I bought these huge racks (I picked up 2 because I thought they were much smaller than they are!)

I have been looking for something to put my shoes on for months without spending an arm & a leg. I almost purchased a book case but it was really big & heavy. I know we'll be buying a house in the next few years and I try to keep that in mind when buying things. (Big & Heavy = major pain in the ass to move!) My work had these plastic racks & I scored them for $5 each (they are $20-$30 in stores). I put one to good use for my heels and wedges.

I also took the time to rearrange my boots. My walk in closet in our town house came with these awesome built in steps.

And here's all of my wedges & heels. I still have to store my flats in bins, you can see one in the picture below. But I have 3 bins filled with flats & flip flops. I am so obsessed with my shoes! :)

Butters is also obsessed with my shoes, he likes to climb all over them at night & knock them down during the day. He's lucky he's handsome!

NEW SHOES

 My birthday has come & gone but I felt the need to buy myself  some new shoes. I have ordered from UrbanOg a few times now & since I own shoes by each of these companies, I knew what size I wear (a size 9!).

These are my favorite of the 3 pairs that I purchased. These are Qupid Onyx-74 Mary Jane Bow Stiletto Pump in Magenta. The color online matches the color exactly which I was so excited about! They have a cute lace bow & a thick platform. They are made of faux suede. One thing I love about UrbanOg is that they let you know whether the shoe fits true to size & all the details so you know what to expect when they arrive. The heel is 5" with a 1.25" platform. They also come in Lemon & Coral colored. They were $23.90.

Next, we have the shoes that I have been looking for the last 6 months. I ordered wedges a few months back that I was hoping would be a light mint color & they ended up being teal. No worries, I still adore them. There are Delicious Meroz-H Round Toe Platform Wedge in the color Turquoise. They are a very light mint greenish blue. They are also faux suede & the heel is 3.75" with a 1.75" platform. They definitely feel much higher but are pretty comfortable. I always go for wedges because they are easier for me to walk in! They also come in Magenta, Oatmeal (beige, which I may need to add to my closet) & Salmon. These were $26.80.

Lastly. I purchased these strappy wedges for summer. These are Bamboo Smooch-21 T-Strap Open Toe Wedge in the color Teal Multi. They are baby blue, medium teal & dark teal with a cork heel. The are made of leatherette (aka fare leather). They have a 5.25" heel with a 1.5" platform. These are super comfortable & I can't wait for the weather to warm up & I can wear them! They also come in Fuchsia Multi & Black Multi. These were $12.70. Is that not a steal!? 

I have purchased from UrbanOg 4 separate times & I am satisfied with them & will order again. They offer free shipping over $50. They ship from CA by UPS & I had my package in 5 business days which is typical. All in all, I am very happy with all three pairs of shoes I received!

Forever 21 & Walmart Haul

I've wanted a Clarisonic for like 3 years but I just can't imagine spending $100+ on a face scrubber! Well, I picked up the Olay ProX Advanced Cleansing System at Walmart & I love it. I was afraid that the scrub brush would be too rough but it's very soft. I don't really like the sample of cleanser that came with it because it smells medicated so i have been using L'Oreal 360 Scrub with it. For $30 it's a complete steal! I also needed a new sunless tanner, my legs never tan in the tanning bed! So I decided to try the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Tanning Gel. I just out it on, so I'll give you feedback later in the week. I got this cute ruffled strapless dress on clearance for $5. I adore the colors in it!!!

I picked these bad boys up on eBay for $8.00 (including shipping) STEAL! They are Charlotte Russe & have a 1" platform with a 5 1/4" heel. I wore them Tuesday with the floral romper (below) for a video shoot. Not only do they make my legs look 8 miles long but they were super comfy. Can you say amazing!?
I grabbed coffee with my friend on Sunday (By the way, Tall Skinny Caramel Machiatto's from Starbucks are amazing!!! 100 calories of pure heaven!!) I grabbed 2 things from Forever 21, This red ruffled shoulder dress was $12.80 & the romper was $15.80.

We picked out of the new furniture for our townhouse today!!! My future hubby works for a high class furniture store so we got a huge deal on everything. We got a really cool grey & black tweed sofa with matching chair & a black accent chair, a rug with beige, brown & grey circles and a black entertainment system for the living room. We also got a futon, ottoman, desk & bookcase (my new vanity!!!) for the second bedroom. Last, we got a whole new bed set complete with the bed frame in dark cherry and 2 matching dressers! We're also planning on buying new bedding to match the dark cherry bed fixtures. I can't wait to show you all the new place in a few months!!

Date Night with my Besties!

My friend's birthday is Tuesday so we celebrated last night with sushi! I swear, I eat sushi like 3 times a week! The restaurant we went to had AMAZING food, I ended up getting Shumai (steamed shrimp dumplings), California Roll (my favorite) and American Dream Roll. We all ordered different kinds and tried everyone elses! I even tried raw sushi for the first time & it was pretty good! I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures from dinner. Womp Womp.

My hair is getting so long! I used a 1" curling iron and spiral curled it then ran my hands through the curl to break them up into a wave. Then I teased & used lots of hairspray (Kenra 26 Super Hold is my favorite right now!) Here's the end result!:

It's been so hot that I have only been using Bare Minerals as foundation, mascara, bronzer & eyeliner. I feel like everything else just melts off as soon as I step outside.
I'm down 7 pounds and when I bought this skirt it was too tight, but I saw it in my closet & tried it on. It fit perfectly!!! Yay, I love it so much. Plus, everyone commented on how skinny I looked. I haven't been strict this week, but I have been trying to eat fruits and veggies with every meal and stopping when I'm full, not when I'm stuffed! It seems to be working! (the shirt & skirt are Forever 21 & shoes are from Charlotte Russe!)

So, I went grocery shopping at Walmart & Burlington is next door. Why do I go there when I know I will buy stuff? These shoes caught my eye & I comtemplated not buying them, but c'mon! There red & zebra with a buckle! I have royal blue suede shoes that are the exact same look and I love them. I bought the white tee in the background for $3.99 & the shoes are by Dollhouse & i got them for $19.99.

Shopping Makes My World Go Around!

Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful Dad's out there!!

I've never been very close to my Dad but he's always worked his ass off so my brother & I had nice things growing up. He's a good person & as I get older I'm realizing more that even though he wasn't the most emotional or loving father he was always there for me. I stopped by to see him & mom today, even though it's 45 minutes away, it still feels like home. It's been a year since I moved out but when I go there it's like I never left at all.

I went shopping yeasterday & I got a little crazy. I had money since I get paid 3 times this month & all of my bills are paid.

I got the yellow floral shirt at Walmart for $1. I figured it'd be cute tucked into jeans with a red cardigan over it. Everything else is from Wet Seal. The lace camis were 2 for $12 (the back & ten are full lace, yellow & grey have lace at the top & bottom), sunglasses were 2 for $8,the nail polish was $1.50 & the jeans were $10 (I love them). Charlotte Russe had earrings & bracelets 3 for $10. I love long earrings and pearl bracelets!

Forever 21 is my favorite store. Seriously, I can't got there without dropping a huge chunk of change! The dresses were $14.50 each, the navy one is a floral lace top with a fitted black bottom, the other two are the same style. Both have stripes on the top & a light denim on the bottom. They are so cute!! I got a pair a jeans for $10.50 & a basic black tank for $2.80. The shirts with the ruffles on the sleeves are super summery & were $6.50 each. Then I got a knockoff Naked palette! For $6.80, it has 10 eye shadows, an eyeliner & a sponge applicator. They had smokey & natural so I picked up natural (although I plan on getting the other one as well!)
At Ross, I got this amazing maxi dress (which I wore on my work's dinner cruise.. pictures to come) for $14.99. I love the HUGE feather hair clip, it was $2.99 & I got this grey blue polish for $1.99.

Last but not least was Burlington! I got some much need bras, the strapless one was $5.99 & the brown & black were a set for $7.99. The clutch is XOXO, I also got this for last night's cruise, it was $9.99. The turquoise shoes were from EBay for $21.00 & they are amazing. The other 2 pairs are from Burlington, the were $5.99 each!

I love to shop & I'm such a bargain hunter!

My New Favorite Sandals?

I saw these sandals about a week ago on Ebay for $21 with free shipping, I had been deciding whether or not I should buy them. Then, Tuesday night I had a dream & I was wearing them! Haha I must have truly loved them! I'm so excited to get them in the mail.I'm going shopping tomorrow, I don't plan on doing much damage to my bank account but my work is having a dinner party & I feel like I need a new outfit. I'm planning on hitting Ross', Burlington & the mall. I'll show you whatever i purchase!!

Shopping Haul!!

We went to look at apartments today and we're almost certain we found a townhouse we love! As of right now, there aren't any available but hopefully we'll be able to move closer to October! I'm so excited, it's 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a huge living room (and walk in closet!) We were out by the local mall so we stopped & I got some things (of course!).

FOTD & Shoe of the Day!

Hi Loves!!

As you know, we've been apartment searching & I think we found the one!! We're going to look at it tomorrow, it's a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a HUGE walk in closet. It's a mile away from where we currently live. I love our apartment but it's too small for us & if we have a second bedroom, I'll have a vanity table & be able to blog much more often. (Plus, I'm getting an elliptical to workout!!) The best part? It has a washer, dryer & dishwasher!!!! That right there has me sold. The rent would only be $130 more a month & it's on the 3rd floor so we wouldn't have any noisy neighbors above us (we have a super noisy night owl above us now!)

Shoe Whore!

Okay, I know. I REALLY have to stop buying shoes! These are my recent purchases:

I search Ebay regularly & I always check for Charlotte Russe shoes. I know exactly what size I wear & and their shoes are soooo cute! I saw these 2 pairs of heels & knew they had to be mine! I ended up getting BOTH pairs for $18.25. $3.25 for the shoes & $15.oo for shipping = AMAZING!
Here's another picture. The red wedges are comfy. I LOVE the white shoes. They are awwwwesome! Both pairs were new & unworn.

I got these today, both are from Ross. The wedges were $17.99 & I could not pass them up. They are light, which suprised me because the "cork" looks heavy.

The flats were $13.99. I wanted a pair of flats so I got basic black.

I got the floral wedges at Burlington for $14.99 & the blue heels at Marshall's for $15.99. I wanted a pair of floral print shoes because they are so big this season. I loved the print on the blue shoes. Anytime I see a different print on a shoe it has to be mine. There steve Madden brand.

Thursday Thoughts!

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are doing well.
Well, the weather here in PA is gorgeous, unfortunately, I am stuck at work! That’s okay, there will be may more days to enjoy spring/summer weather!
I’ve been trying to eat healthy & exercise for the past few weeks but I have failed miserably! In an attempt to keep myself motivated, every Monday I will weigh in & show you all the number on the scale. I’ll start this Monday with my first weigh in & hopefully I’ll be at my goal weight by October so I can go wedding dress shopping! I did splurge on a new pair of Reebok Run Tone sneakers and a bicycle. Now that the weather is nicer, I’m really going to try & stay active.

I can't wait for these bad boys to be delivered!!!
We’ve been looking for a new place, Dustin got a new job & our lease is up in June. We’ve found 3-4 places that we’re hoping to go look at. All I care about is the size of the closet!!! I have to say, it’s bittersweet. This was my first time living away from my parents but we’ve had so much fun making it “ours”. I love our landlord & we’re hoping that he’ll have another apartment available. I’d love a second bedroom that I could turn into a shoe closet/exercise room/ makeup room! (Of course, Dustin will not agree!)

Shoes!

I finally found the shoes I've wanted! I've been trying to get these shoes for like 3 months & everywhere I have looked has been sold out. I found them on Ebay for $32.99 (including shipping) I am so excited to recieve them that I can barely contain myself!!

I painted my nails yesterday & my camera isn't in my purse but this is the color, it's 060 Fusion Neon. I freaking love it! It's so pink & bright.. it just screams SPRING!

The weather has been rainy & downright crap today. It makes me a little sad because I can feel my motivation for everything go right out the window. But, I hope to make it to the gym tonight because I really need it. I have been on my diet for 16 days and I have been doing so well. I baked over 100 cookies for the bake sale and managed to eat only 1, which is quite an accomplishment for me. Plus, I made homemade vegetable soup last night that I've been eating all day.. it's sooo good!

New Nail Polishes, Shoes & Makeup

Hi Dolls!

I went a little crazy this week with nail polishes, but they were having a sale on China Glaze Polishes. They were 2 for $6 & cleaned my old polishes out and only had like 10 left.

I needed a pair of nude pumps & I met my weight loss goal for March (YAY!) so Dustin bought me these nude peep toes from Burlington for $16.99.

I read a few blogs about Maybelline's One by One Volume Express so I purchased it and I have been using it for a few days. I will do a review in the near future. These are the 10 polishes I bought, (from left to right) Pink Voltage Neon (hot pink), White on White (matte white), Thataway(shimmery coral), Summer Rain (shimmery light pink), Frostbite (bright blue), Sun Worshiper (yellowy orange), Refresh Mint (white green), Flip Flop Fantasy (neon orangey pink) & Solar Power (shimmery yellow).

I bought this NYC palette for green eyes for $2.99 at Walmart. I am very suprised, it has some gorgeous colors!

Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller

Hello!

I purchased Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller about a month ago & I have been trying it everyday to see how I feel about it. It's a tinted "concealer" that you just roll from your inner corner of your eye out.

First off, it smells nice. It's not like a flower but it's not terrible. I have been applying this after my primer in the mornings & I do like it but I don't find that it really does anything. It's consistancy is very thin so i couldn't use it in place of my concealer. The one thing that i LOVE is that it takes a while to dry, so you have time to apply it to each undereye area and then work with it.

As you can see, it blends pretty flawless.

This was my awesome dinner this evening. Baked Chicken, fresh green beans & carrots with herb rice! I'm back on my diet & doing very well!

Birthday Shopping Pt 2

Hi Loves!

We went to dinner last night to celebrate, but there was a 45 minute wait. It ended up being perfect because there' a Burlington directly across the street.

I got this dress to match the shoes I bought (below). It was $19.99 and it's so freaking cute!

These blush pink shoes are a must have. I saw them and instantly it was LOVE! Dustin bought them for me as a gift, but they were $14.99.
