HUGE MAC HAUL

Hi!
I hope you guys are having a fantastic Thursday!
This haul is from last week, I have done 3 weddings in 3 weeks & I always try to put 25% of my earning back into my makeup kit. So, I hit MAC's online store for some basic eye shadows and a few other things.
So I ended up purchasing:
 Blue Brown Pigment
Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus
Melba Blush
Lipstick in Hue (my new favorite!)
Eye shadows in the following colors:
Carbon
Espresso
Bronze
Guacamole
Cork
Satellite Dreams
Swiss Chocolate
Nocturnelle
Naked Lunch
I also purchased a Fluidline in Dipdown.
Here's a look I did using some of the new products. I used Bronze on my eyelid, Naked Lunch on my brow bone & inner corner. I used Dipdown on my lower lash line & topped it with Guacamole. I also used the Mineralized Skinfinish Natural in Medium Plus & Melba blush.
I love Guacamole. It's such a gorgeous teal colored green, perfect for just a pop of color.
I'm also very excited to announce that I became an aunt on 5/23 for the fist time! My brother in law & sister in law welcomed a healthy baby boy, 8 pounds 1 oz & 20.5 inches long. His name is Dane Lee & I could not be more excited! This is his big sister & him 3 days after he was born. (Please forgive my makeup less face, I slept late & had NO time!)
Have a great day!

MAC HAUL

I know, I know, another MAC Haul, this will be the last one for a long time. I love their makeup but damn, I'm broke after the wedding! I have been on quite a shopping spree lately & I need to save in 2013. My husband travels for work & left for 14 days yesterday. I find that when I am bored I want to shop & eat, both of which I shouldn't be doing! I really hate when he's gone, I hate being alone at night so I barely sleep but such is life. Anyways on to my haul..
(Haha look at Butters in the background, that cat is a nut!) I always love the way MAC packages, it looks so cute & neat! I also have to compliment their shipping, it shipped on Tuesday & I had it Thursday morning.
 Here's what I ordered: 1 blush, 1 mineralized skin finish, 2 brushes, 1 cheek & lip color, 1 studio fix powder, 1 bronzer, 2 lipglasses & 3 lipsticks.
Of course, my cat couldn't leave his paws off of things! I moved him twice and he kept sneaking back into the picture! I love the way MAC's products are packaged, they always look so sleek & simple.
I picked up Mineralized Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle, I've been looking for a highlight that isn't too light. I also grabbed a Studio Finish Powder Foundation in NC40, I have NC25 & NC30 & needed something a little darker. I wanted a matte bronzer so I chose Bronze. I've reasearched Gingerly blush for awhile & decided to try it. My favorite purchase from the haul is MAC's
Casual Color in Out for Fun. It's for lips & cheeks & the color is just a gorgeous coral.
The three lipsticks I picked up were Angel, Please Me & Lady Danger. The lip glasses I got were Underage & Nymphette.
The 2 brushes I chose were the 203 Small Angle Brush & the 217 Blending brush.
I've been working a lot & I haven't had the chance to play with any of these but I can't wait to do some fun looks & show you! :)

HUGE MAC HAUL (PIC HEAVY)

I am so excited! I ordered a small MAC haul about a month ago to try a few things out, well needless to say, I loved everything I received. I applied for a MAC Pro Card to get a discount (I'm a licensed cosmetologist) & waited ever so impatiently to get it in the mail. I had an order sitting in my cart on MAC's website & Wednesday it came in the mail. So I placed an order Friday afternoon. Now, I want you to know, YES I spent a lot of money. However, I do weddings & will be able to make the money back. (It's justifiable right?) On to the goodness!:
Here's a picture of everything I ordered. 3 eye liners,  1 liquid foundation, 1 concealer, 1 bronzing powder, 1 powder foundation, 16 eye shadows & 4 lipsticks.
Here's the Custom eye shadow palette, liquid eye liner, pencil eye liner & gel eye liner. All the eye liners are black. You'll see the eye shadows below!
These are the amazing eye shadows I ordered. I cannot wait to try them, I do have another MAC 4 eye shadow palette. I ordered 15 to fill the custom palette & one that I had to have!
In no particular order, I purchased: Sketch, Vanilla, Woodwinked, Shroom, Freshwater, Plum Dressing, Humid, Gorgeous Gold, Amber Lights, Patina, Contrast, Satin Taupe, Sumptuous Olive, All That Glitters & Vibrant Grape.
I also purchased Tempting, which I am so glad I didn't pass up!
The palette was nicely wrapped, it came in a heavy paper bag & this box. All of the eye shadows come separately & you just pop them in the palette however you prefer. I chose to do neutrals & then brights.
I have read awesome reviews about all 3 liners. I picked up the pencil liner or Eye Kohl in Smolder (black), I also decided to try their liquid eye liner or Liquidlast Liner in black & gel liner or Fluidline in Blacktrack.
I purchased Russian Red lip stick & I am obsessed. So much that I'm wearing it on my wedding day (SATURDAY!) I purchased 4 gorgeous shades!
As always, MAC has sleek black packaging & the color is always amazing!
Here's the color's I picked up this order: Creme Cup, Impassioned, Myth & Saint Germain.
And here you can see the colors: Saint Germain, Myth, Impassioned & Creme Cup.
Last are the face products. I got mainly face products last time & I love them, however, I think the Pro Longwear foundation is a little too heavy on my skin. I also noticed that it caused some minor break outs which I should have figured but since I was so excited to try the products I slapped them on. Not a good idea 2 weeks before your wedding! I still use the Studio Finish Concealer every single day because it's AMAZING but I have been sticking to Bare Minerals. Anyway, this time I ordered Studio Fix Foundation Plus in NC30 (I have it in NC25 but I have been tanning). I ordered Studio Fix Fluid in NW20 & I'm going to mix it with Pro Longwear in NC30. I also picked up a Bronzing Powder in Refined Golden & Pro Longwear Concealer in NC20.
The camera really washes the color out. They are much darker in person!
After the wedding, I will be swatching & reviewing everything!
Do you think MAC is worth the price or is it all just hype?

Victoria's Secret Haul

So, the wedding is 19 days away. I am officially in panic mode! I'm really excited for it to be over so I can relax in Punta Cana for a week & you know I'll have tons of photos to show you!
I really needed a new bathing suit since mine are too big. On that note, I'm finally down to 149 lbs, I have been eating 1200 calories a day & trying to work out as much as possible. I'd love to hit 145 lbs before the wedding.
I love VS bathing suits & they were on sale so I ordered 2 new ones online. I also grabbed some body spray & lotion because I am running low.
I had never smelled Coconut Passion but I love anything that is coconut scented! Especially for winter because it makes me remember summer. It smells so good, it's a lighter coconut & vanilla scent which I love. My absolute favorite body spray ever is Love Spell. I have worn it for years & I still adore it. It has this sweet, floral scent that always makes me feel more energized & whenever someone smells it they love it! I love it so much I spray my bed sheets and pillow with it. I got the small bottle of Coconut Passion & a larger lotion, large Love Spell body spray & Love Spell  lotion.
So this is the bathing suit I decided on for our Honeymoon. I usually hate buying stuff online but since it is ordered by bra size it fits perfectly. It was only $25 for the top & $18 for the bottom which is a total steal because it was originally $58 for the top & $45 for the bottom. I actually love this suit, I usually don't like any bikinis because I have wide hips & they dig in but this is super stretchy.
This is the other bathing suit that I chose, it was $15 total. I didn't realize that the top was unlined so I'm going to get crafty & sew some padding & lift into it, otherwise it will look terrible! I do love the colors & the star details.
There have been seeing so many Praying Mantises this year. I have seen like 30 already. I really dislike them, they are the largest bugs here & get about 8" long. Plus the fly & they blend in with everything. I'm terrified of them, I don't kill them but I run when I see them. This same one has been hanging around my place for a few weeks & he was on the patio door. You can really see how gross their little alien faces are! Apparently they are good luck, so maybe I should be glad I keep seeing them!
It was not excited to have it's picture taken! :)

MAC Haul

I have purchased a few things from MAC before & I am always happy. However, the closest MAC store is almost 2 hours away & I absolutely hate buying things online without seeing them in person. I made an exception this time, I really wanted MAC makeup for my wedding & took a chance & ordered online. I researched for a 2 full weeks before purchasing & I watched YouTube videos, viewed blogs & googled like crazy! So here's my purchase..
I love the packaging, all black & sleek.
I purchased MAC Pro Longwear Foundation in NC20, a small bottle of MAC Fix+, MAC Studio Fix Plus Foundation in NC25,Studio Finish Concealer in NC20 & Russian Red Lipstick.
I never used MAC foundations before but I think I might be in love. The longwear foundation is awesome & you can build your coverage. I have pink undertones so I chose NC which has more of a yellow base so I can even out & reduce pink/red tones. It will last a while, 2 pumps covered my entire face (medium coverage). This was $30.
I'm sorry, I used a bit of this before I took a picture (I couldn't wait!). This is the Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer. I also got this in NC20, which is just light enough for my under eye circles. I really debated between this & the Pro Longwear Concealer but ultimately this gives better coverage. I'm always worried about under eye circles & puffiness. This was $18.

Since my wedding colors are black, white & red, I thought MAC Russian Red would be absolutely perfect. I haven't tried this yet but I love the color & it is one of their best sellers. I know I won't be disappointed! This was $15.
I purchased the smaller size of MAC Fix +, I always hear about it & I'm excited to try it, it was $10. Lastly, I purchased Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. I never go anywhere without powder & this can be carried in my purse to keep my face matte. It does come with a puff underneath but I'll use a brush to apply it. This is NC25 which is a little darker but since I'll be tanning again soon, this will match. This was $27.
I am so happy with everything I received & I applied for a MAC Pro Card because I know I want to buy so much more. To be honest, you get what you pay for. MAC is expensive, however, if you do your research you end up with amazing finds. I have a cart full of things & I can't wait to order more.
Have you tired MAC? What are your favorite purchases?

Cherry Culture Goodies

Hi!
I hope you had a good weekend!
I placed an order through Cherry Culture (who I have ordered from many times before), I ordered 7 of NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige because 1. it's my absolute favorite gloss & 2. I thought it would be a great gift for my bridesmaids. I use it regularly & I thought it would be great for everyone on my wedding day. Now, when you order more than $40 you get free shipping so of course, I had to take advantage!

I ordered this little blush palette for $1. It was on sale, and I couldn't pass it up. I haven't tried it yet, however, can you see the brush? It's terrible, I really don't get why it's even included. I never use the applicators included with makeup palettes, I love my brushes!
I have been thinking about what I'll be taking on my honeymoon as far as makeup. I really don't want to take any of my good makeup because I am afraid it will get lost in transit & I'll be furious! Plus, we'll be swimming & at the beach all week, so I won't be wearing tons of makeup. I ordered this NYX palette for Green Eyes. I thought it would be easy to carry & it has a bunch of colors. I'm not sure how much I paid, I think $8?
I really like the colors in this palette. It has a few neutrals & a few brighter colors.
I love NYX products & I'm sure I won't be disappointed with this palette, plus it was super cheap.
I also got another little palette I thought would be great for the honeymoon. This is NYX's Nude on Nude look kit. Again, I don't remember the cost but I know it wasn't very expensive.
This is so small, I might start carrying it in my purse, it comes with 9 eye shadows & 2 lip glosses. I think it's adorable & very convenient.
You really can't beat neutrals, they look great on everyone & you can do a basic look or a smokey look.
I'll be swatching & reviewing each of these palettes in the future!
Also, I made a few (A LOT) of changes to my blog. What do you think?
All the best,
Krystle

Clothes & Makeup (Pic Heavy)

I didn't purchase all of this stuff together, I have accumulated a few things here and there!
My first and favorite purchase is this gorgeous royal blue blazer that i picked up at H&M for $20 on clearance. It was the last one and a size 8. I love it so much!
I also picked up this dress at H&M on clearance for $7, it's a little tight but hopefully when I lose a few more pounds it will fit better.
I got this dress for $12.99 at Burlington. I wasn't sure if it would fit right but it looks really cute & I';ve got a ton of compliments on it. It's simple & easy for a day with friends.
I picked up this shirt in memory of my friend who was killed last weekend, He loved Dubstep & had this shirt, so I picked it up. We're going to all wear them & go our one night.
I dropped a jean size which is awesome. I'd like to say it's from eating healthy & doing the right thing but it's from not eating & stress. However, I have been back to eating clean & exercising like crazy this past week. Last time I weighed myself, I was at 152.4. I'm hoping I can hit 151 by next week. I bought these jeans at Forever 21, which has been offering 34" inseam for the taller ladies! I'm so happy to have pants that aren't super short! I also picked up this blue & purple plaid button down.
I almost passed this tank up but I really liked it for some reason. It was on clearance at Wet Seal for $6 & I'm glad I bought it because I can wear it out or wear it to the gym.
On to my favorite purchases, SHOES! I purchased all of the shoes at Urban Og & I have to give them credit for fast shipping & cheap, quality shoes!
I have been searching for like 3 weeks for the perfect pair of sea foam/aqua colored suede wedges. They had a few options but I have bought Qupid brand before & I know my size so these were what I picked. I believe I payed $25 or $26 for these, I am really not sure. Anyway, they are about 5 1/2" heels. I always love wedges because they are so much easier for me to walk in. I'm thinking about wearing these for engagement pictures.
I really wasn't sure about these shoes, but I needed $8 more dollars to get me to free shipping & they were $12.99. I am so glad I got them! They are very vintage looking, the print reminds me of the 70's!

I've been on the search for the perfect coral pumps & I found these bad boys! I have to admit, they are a little too high for my liking but they are so cute I can't help but wear them. They were $25 I think.

I got this adorable black strapless dress at H&M for $10, I was planning on wearing it for engagement pictures. I ended up wearing this & the blue blazer to my friend's funeral. It's a cute dress.
NYX had a sale for anyone registered as a professional on their site, you got 50% off all of the products. So I spent $60. It came packaged in this adorable lace satchel. I got a ton of new stuff that I haven't even had a chance to play with yet!
Here's a closer view of all the products, I'll be doing a post dedicated to this purchase very soon!
As always, thanks for stopping by & leave comments!
