Wedding Dress Shopping!

Hi!

I hope you all have been well! I have so much going on in my life but I couldn't wait to show you what I have been up to! yesterday me & 6 out of my 7 bridesmaids went dress shopping! I really wasn't expecting to try dresses on but once I got there it was a different story. Dustin & I get married on 10/20/12 & I have so much to do!

This was the first dress I tried on, I really liked it & as soon as I walked out of the room I was in tears. It all became so real! I never liked long veils until I tried one on!

I loved this dress. I hated the bottom of it though. I seriously tried 20 dresses on & this was my favorite.
Here's the back of the dress. I wish it had more detailing but I still have much more dress shopping to do. Until I find THE dress, I'm not buying it!

Here are a few of my bridesmaids. This is the style dress I chose, except they will be all black with red shoes. The girls tried theses dresses on first & loves them! They are so cute & they'll be able to wear them again!

Just wanted to give you a quick update on what's been going on! I'm planning on ordering a new camera soon & really posting a lot more!

Have a great night!

Wet N Wild "Petal Pusher" Palette

Hi Dolls!
So I've reviewed Wet N Wild's "Comfort Zone" & "Blue Had Me At Hello", which were the 2 that I originally purchased. I was so impressed with them that I rushed back to Save Mart & grabbed the only one I didn't buy. I'm not sure why I didn't buy it because I love purples. I think it's because I have so many purple shadows & liners.

"Petal Pusher" (I love the name!) comes with 8 eye shadows & a crap brush/applicator. I always throw the applicators out because they are horrendous! I do love this palette because the colors are really great, especially with it being Spring.

The colors are very soft & blendable. However, I find the colors in this palette are not nearly as pigmented as the other 2 palettes. I really have to pack the colors on to get the effect that I am going for. One thing worth mentioning is that the right side eye lid color is almost an exact match of NYX's "Red Bean Pie" (which just so happens to be a favorite shadow of mine) and the right side crease color is close to MAC's "Smut" however, it is a little more red based & the right side definer color is close to MAC's "Black Tied". So, if you are looking to try a less expensive version of those, give this palette a try!
The palette was $3.99 which is a complete steal, if you are looking for a cheap, versatile purple based palette.
Here are the swatches: You can barely see the left side brow bone color, it's a shimmery white with a slight pink tint, the eye lid color is a light pink purple, the crease color is a dark, blue based purple & the definer color is a dark purple with blue shimmer.
The right side brow bone color is my favorite of the whole palette, it's a pastel pink shimmer & it's also the last swatch on top of NYX's Eyeshadow Base in White.
I'm sorry, I never took a picture of any of the looks that I did with this palette!
I've been doing small shopping lately & I had to show the FABULOUS shoes I picked up at Ross for $25. I put them back 3 times but I just had to buy them. Plus, they are Steve Madden! For $25, that is a total steal! I haven't worn them yet, but wedges are my favorite, they are the most comfortable. I know these will kill my feet because they are 5 3/4" high. And I will be a giant woman, but oh well!

Here's another look I did with "Comfort Zone". I seriously cannot get enough of that palette! (PS: I got my hair colored, I'm trying to get back to blonde. Look how long my hair is getting!!)

Have a great day!

Wet N Wild "Comfort Zone" Palette

It's been awhile, hasn't it? First off, let me apologize. I mentioned in my last post that I was going through a rough time. Well, I am still going through it. I found out that after 35 years of marriage, my parent's are getting divorced. It's been a really bad time for everyone & especially hard for me because in less than 7 months I'm getting married. I'm numb to the whole situation but it's been a tough month.
Just a quick update, I have been trying to keep up with my weight loss but I'm such a stress eater. I have done better this past week & I'm focusing more on whole foods & low carbs.
On to the good stuff..
As you know, I picked up these Wet N Wild palettes & I have been using them pretty much daily since I picked them up. Today, I'll be reviewing "Comfort Zone". This is my favorite palette out of all three of them. It's so versatile & the colors are great for any skin tone.

There are 8 colors, the left side are warmer tones & the right side are cooler tones. I love that these colors can be easily blended & bravo to Wet N Wild because they have stepped their game up the past couple years! The fact that you can get 8 colors for $3.99 & they are soft & blendable, I will continue to purchase their products! (Plus, the bottom right color is a dupe to MAC Club!)
The left side's brow bone color is a super light cool gold, the eyelid color is a shimmer rose gold, the crease color is a soft chocolate brown & the definer is a deep, rich chocolate brown.
The right side's brow bone color is a cool grayish brown, the eyelid color is a golden green, the crease color is a dark brown with gold flecks & the definer color is almost exactly like MAC's Club a greenish, brownish red. It's different every time you look at it!
Here's the look I created with the palette. I used the cooler right side colors, I used the brow bone color on my lid & the eyelid color (green) on my crease with a little of the definer color at the corner of my crease.
I also picked up a new XL curling wand that I want to do a review on because I love the look it gives!
Thanks for reading!
Have a great night!
