Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Here's what I woke up to this morning! Isn't she just terrifying!? This is my oldest cat Jinx & she's celebrating her favorite holiday by torturing me & Dustin! I wish I could stay mad at her but she's WAY TOO CUTE!

I didn't dress up this year for Halloween which makes me a little sad, but I have had no time. I'd like to have all the boxes put away before Christmas so that's been my main focus. I love Halloween but I'm just not into it this year. I never even decorated for Fall. Anyways, I'm smitten over NYX's Red Bean Pie Eyeshadow. If you have green eyes, this color is for you. It's a deep purple with shimmer.
This has got to be my favorite NYX Eyshadow!
(I hated my hair down so I ended up putting my bangs back!)

What a weird year this has been We've had tons of unusual weather. This summer was one of the hottest summers ever, we had an earthquake (very uncommon for this area), we had the worst flooding in 30 years and now SNOW in October! WTF? Here's a view from my patio, we got 4 1/2" of snow over the weekend. I'd like to kick Old Man Winter right in his snowballs! :-)

Have a great night!

NYX Smokey Mountain Eyeshadow

How's it going?

Can you believe Pennsylvania is supposed t get 2-6 inches of snow tonight? It is October 28, snow, really!? Thanks for being non existent Fall! I dread winter, it always makes me moody. And with the week I've had, that's the thing I wanted. I managed to fall down the stairs, so I've got broken blood vessels, bruises & rug burn on my back, elbows & wrist. Plus, I bruised my ribs. Haha only I would do that! I've been taking it easy (and I'm so sore).

I received a package from Cherry Culture, I ordered some things for myself (and some things for a giveaway!) but NYX's Smokey Mountain Single Eyeshadow caught my eye.

I didn't swatch this shadow, but I will eventually. The color is a rich army green with golden shimmer. It's perfect for green eyes!!
I used NYX Jumbo pencil in Rocky Mountain green on my lower lash line. I love that color!!

I stopped at the mall & picked up these bod boys for $8.97!

And while I was there, I stopped at Forever 21 & picked up a few accessories (also grabbed a hot pink cardigan & plum pencil skirt). I grabbed a set of makeup brushes to carry with me in my purse, a few head bands & flowers and a blush compact.

Have a great night!*Krystle

Wet N Wild "Cool As A Cucumber" Swatches & Look

How's it going!?

I went grocery shopping the other day & they had the Wet N Wild palettes for half off. They had very limited ones, there were only 3 left. I already had 2 of them so I picked up "Cool As A Cucumber". I absolutely love purples & greens and that's exactly what colors are in this set!

I'll start with the look first, I used the whole palette. I did add a little bit of NYX's Red Bean Pie on the purple to lighten it (it's pretty dark). I had two coupons for Maybelline FIT Foundation, so I purchased 2 colors, I've been wearing them for a few days I do plan on doing a review.

I switched the crease & eyelid color. I have green eyes & I feel like darker greens on my lid wash my skin tone out. I used it on the crease & I really liked the look! I got NYX's Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Beige (which happens to be the loveliest pink shade & my new fave lip!) & that's what I have on my luppies!
With Flash):The browbone color is actually a mint green but the flash washes it out. The other colors look about the same as in person.
(Without Flash) You can see the browbone color much better without the flash!

Here are the swatches:

Browbone, very soft shimmery mint green

Crease, very dark shimmery plum.

Eyelid, a rich hunter green with gold shimmer.

Have a great night!

Shoe Love.

I've been searching for red boots. I wanted them to be flat & about calf high. I've ordered from AMI Clubwear once before & I found a really awesome pair on their site for $17.99. The only thing was the boots were $17.99 & shipping was $21.95. BUT if you order $50 or more you get free shipping. Of course, I got more shoes!!

It's easy for me to find shoes, I wear a 9 in dress shoes (heels & wedges) and a 10 in flats & boots. The first thing I have to mention is how fast I got the shoes! I ordered on Monday night & they shipped Tuesday. I had them Friday afternoon, so three days from CA to PA (which is typically about 5-6 days). So Bravo, AMI Clubwear for a good shipping experience!

The beige booties were on sale for $12.99 & I wasn't sure about them. When I received them, I fell in love. They are sooo gorgeous! the red boots were exactly what I wanted. I got the lace up wedge for $12.99. I love them, Dustin thinks they are the most awful shoes he's ever seen. So, I have to rock them to prove him wrong! Last, the high boots were also $12.99. You can wear them as thigh high or fold them down under your knee.
The booties may just be my favorite shoes. They are about 5" high (which would make me 6'1"!) but I love the cut out on the front. The wedges are about 3" high & I think with the right outfit they can work.

These red boots are BRIGHT! They are just perfect! Black boots are about 4" and I love that you can change how you wear them!

I will order from AMI Clubwear again. I'm really happy with my purchase!

Have a great day!

Halloween Nails

Hiiiii!

You will rarely see nails on my blog (at least done by me!), my hands are far too shaky for painting my nails. Well, my nail tech was super busy & I had a lot of errands to run, so I told her I would paint my own nails. I wanted something different for Fall.

What is more Fall than orange & green?

I used OPI's Music Hall Curtain Call & China Glaze Zombie Zest.

I painted all but my ring finger with OPI's Music Hall Curtain Call, which is a burnt orange with gold shimmer. I've had it for awhile but never used it because I'm not a huge fan of orange. But this is so pretty, it's not quite orange but not quite red. My ring fingers have China Glaze Zombie Zest. I love this color. The polish itself is almost yellow, but it has these gorgeous lime green & yellow flecks in it. It's very subtle, so I used 4 coats and then used a top coat. I used 3 coats of OPI.
I picked up Zombie Zest last year on clearance at the Beauty Supply store. But it's almost a seasonal color, when else could I wear this? Maybe summer but I'd have to be REALLY tan to pull it off!

I'm almost certain I got this on clearance too. I'm not an orange person. I tend to stick with cool colors on my nails because I think they look better with my PALE skin! Here's the finished look! I really like it, I have a video shoot on Tuesday and I think this will be fun. I think later this week I'm going to do a bright orange with black crackle. How much more Halloween can you get!?

(PS- I've been having problems getting pictures to load so I haven't been able to update? WTF!?)

I hope you have a nice day!

Garden Spider?

This is the lovely Garden Spider that resides outside my front door. I'm strange, most people are scared of spiders.. me? Nope, I am intrigued by them! She really is that big (it's a she, there's an egg sac on her web!) I'd say she's about 5" long. I've never seen a spider nearly this big, luckily she's harmless to humans! As long as she continues to eat stink bugs (for those of you who don't know, stink bugs are beetles that infested PA from Asia & they are harmless but when they are irritated they secrete a disgusting stench!) she can stay. Plus, we named her Charlotte so she's like a family member now! (kidding! kind of!!)

With her at my door, who needs Halloween decorations! :)

Have a great night!

A Sneak Peek at my Vanity!!

So my vanity is nowhere near finished but I couldn't wait to give you a sneak peek! Here's how it's set up right now. I used it the first time today & it was so nice! I didn't have to dig for my brushes!
Here's a close up of the top. I even have my own little owl!
Here's our master bathroom, all but finished!
And I have to brag because I made some awesome ham & bean soup. Seriously, Fall is the best season!
Have a good night!

Where is my Makeup!?

Well, we're all moved in to our new place but there are still boxes all over. It's been tough between working and moving, I'm trying to unpack but most nights I'm exhausted after work. Most of my makeup is packed away, I just kept my basic makeup & my 4 piece MAC palette in my makeup bag. We got my vanity table set up in the bedroom & it's going to be so nice! I can't wait to show you when it's finished!
This was from yesterday, very basic.
I can't believe how long my hair has gotten, I never straighten it anymore but I had some extra time. My color needs redone & it needs cut but I love the length!
hopefully, I'll get my things unpacked & I'll be able to update more often! Plus, I can't wait to show you our place!
Have a great night!
