Girl's Night Out...

Hi Dolls,
Sorry I have been M.I.A. Everything in my life has been super busy, but i have a bunch of reviews to do on some new products that I have gotten. Plus, I just ordered the China Glaze Crackle Set (all 6 polishes). I've been trying to get the OPI Shatter since it came out but it's been back ordered at the Beauty Supply Store for 2 damn months. Then, I saw the China Glaze set & I was so excited because I like China Glaze better than OPI. I should have the set in 3-5 days, I ordered them on Amazon for $28.99. It may take me a while to do a review because I can't change my nail color until the video shoots are finished (one more week hopefully!)
Anyway, I finally got a chance to go out with my ladies this weekend! We had such a blast and I wanted to show you a few pictures from the evening!
Have you ever seen Jerseylicious because all my friends called me "Tracy" & these are the hot pink boots from a previous post! Aren't they gorgeous?

These are 2 really close friends, Margaret & Lauren.

Best Vodka EVER!! It's Whipped Cream flavored! We mixed it with Orange Soda (creamsicle) and Ginger ale (Cream Soda).

Haha this is so typical of my friends and I. These are all my work ladies!

And this shot made everything fuzzy...

PS - I totally fell down the stairs at the Hardware Bar, I was way too drunk to be wearing 5" heels! So, guess who's got a sprained ankle & a good story to tell!?
Have a great day!

Video Shoots?

Hi Ladies,
So you've probably seen in previous posts that video shoots are consuming my life! I thought I would give you a peek into my video shoot world! I'll give you some background information first. I work for an internet based international hair replacement company (wigs& toupees) and we're launching a huge marketing video for 2011. I typically do our product review videos, so I volunteered to do some acting. Little did I know that it would be 15 hours a week!
But here are a few pictures from the set!
Obviously I was in the middle of talking!

I was actually doing a video on taking hair samples.

Have a great day!

Clipless Curling Iron

Heyyyy!
I should be studying for my video shoot tomorrow but I'll do that later! (Maybe!)
So I purchased this clipless curling iron from Walmart for $29.97. I had been searching for one for awhile, but since I had never used one I didn't want to pay an arm & leg for one. It's wider at the top and smaller at the bottom. I wasn't sure that I would like this because I was afraid it would look weird but I lovvvve the look it gives.
I'll show you 2 separate looks that I did:

This is my favorite way to wear my hair now. I like to curl it about an hour before I actually leave, the curl drops into more of a wave and it gives that messy, beachy look.

I'm not to fond of this curl but this iron would be great for updos!

Have an awesome night!

I'm sorry...

Hi loves,
I'm so sorry I haven't been updating. Things are a little crazy on my end. I've been working 50-60 hour weeks & my Grandpa is in the hospital. So between work and visiting him, I have no time. (He's getting a pacemaker put in today so if you could say a little prayer for him, I would love you forever!)
The only good thing that has happened lately is tht Dustin & I booked our wedding reception venue! I have been having a mini freak out all day because it's really starting to feel real.. in 1 1/2 years I'll be married! I absolutely adore the place, I walked in and knew it was the one. It looks like an old time movie theatre & it's open and HUGE! I've included a few pictures from there Facebook of other weddings! (Let me know what you think...)
This is the cake that I am looking at. My colors are going to be orange, brown & green since our wedding is October 20.
Here is an aerial view of the reception space. Our wedding will be different because we'll have a dance floor. You'll see in the next pictures.

This is how our tables will be set up except the centerpiece will be a glass vase filled with orange, brown & green roses and the tables will have fall leaves on them.

This is how the venue will be set up for the wedding!

I have to say that I am so excited! (Even though we have 611 days until the wedding!) Now it's time to get on my grind & knock these 20-30 pounds off!
Have a great day (the weather here is gorgeous and I'm stuck at work!)

Birthday Shopping Pt 2

Hi Loves!
We went to dinner last night to celebrate, but there was a 45 minute wait. It ended up being perfect because there' a Burlington directly across the street.
Here's a few of the goodies I bought:
I got this dress to match the shoes I bought (below). It was $19.99 and it's so freaking cute!

These blush pink shoes are a must have. I saw them and instantly it was LOVE! Dustin bought them for me as a gift, but they were $14.99.

A picture of the outfit!
I hope you have a great Saturday!

Orange you glad you looked?

So, I hate the color orange. And this is the only orange shirt I own, but lately I've been wanting to play with coral lips.
Here's what I came up with:

Oh heeeeyyyy..

Bug eyes

Have a great weekend!

Goodies!

Hi Loves,
I stopped by Walmart and picked up some things, most of which I actually needed!
I was in need of new foundation (not really, haha) so I picked up Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse in Natural Ivory & Loreal True Match in Soft Ivory. It worked perfectly because the Natural Ivory is a bit too dark and the Soft Ivory is a touch too light.
I also got an Anti Dark Circle Roller by Garnier. It wasn't something I needed but it looked cool!
They were having a sale on my favoriite eyeliner. I love Covergirl's Perfect Point Plus in Black Onyx. I've switched it up a few times but I always catch myself buying this eyeliner again. But, it came with Lash Blast Volume in Waterproof Very Black. I haven't tried this but both were $9.98. Couldn't pass that up!!
I picked up a NYC white eyeliner pencil because I cannot find mine anywhere!
Last but not least,(and a huge steal) I picked up a set that included Covergirl Wetslicks Lipgloss in Peaches and Gleam & Outlast Lipstain in 415. Seriously, I am so surprised with the stain! It smells delicious & the color really stays on. Plus with the lipgloss it's super pink and pretty! Can you ever have enough pink glosses? OHHH and it was $5!! I think I'll be stopping back tomorrow to pick out a few more of these sets!!
I finally got my closet cleaned. This is about half of the clothes I own!

I scored this set at the Beauty Supply store for $8. This may be my favorite shampoo & the serum is really the saving grace for my hair!

I hope you enjoyed this post & until next time..
Krystle
